Red Strader (Norman Parker Strader) was born on December 21, 1902 in Newton, New Jersey. After going to high school at Modesto (CA), Strader attended St. Mary's College of California. Strader made his professional debut in the AFLG in 1926 with the Chicago Bulls. He played in the AFLG for 1 year, playing for the Chicago Bulls the entire time. Strader also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Chicago Cardinals the entire time.
