Red Steiner (James Harry Steiner) was born on January 7, 1915 in Los Angeles, California. He made his Major League debut on May 11, 1945 for the Cleveland Indians. Steiner played for the Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 1 year career.
