Red Rollings (William Russell Rollings) was born on March 31, 1904 in Mobile, Alabama. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1927 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1927, his rookie year, he hit .266 with 0 home runs and 9 RBI. Rollings played for the Boston Red Sox and Boston Braves over the course of his 3 year career.
