Red Phillips

Born on November 3, 1908 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Red Phillips (Clarence Lemuel Phillips) played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 2 year career. Phillips broke into the bigs on July 24, 1934 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 6.49 ERA in 87.1 innings pitched in 1936, his rookie year.
