Red Franklin (Norman C. Franklin) was born on December 13, 1911 in Hope, Rhode Island. Franklin attended Oregon State University. Franklin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1935 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1935 was Red Franklin's best year.
