Red Evans

Born on November 12, 1906 in Chicago, Illinois, Red Evans (Russell Edison Evans) played for the Chicago White Sox and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 2 year career. Evans broke into the bigs on April 24, 1936 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 5.18 ERA in 64.1 innings pitched in 1939, his rookie year.
