Red Davis (Sylvester Edward Davis) was born on November 14, 1907 in Franks, Ohio. After going to high school at Willard (OH), Davis attended Geneva College. Davis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1933 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 1 year career.
