Rebound Rate


Rebound Rate is an estimate of the percentage of missed shots a player rebounded while he was on the floor. It is superior to metrics like Rebounds/G and Rebounds/40 Min. because it accounts for the number of opportunities a player has to rebound the ball. Rebound Rate is calculated as:

RebR = (Reb * (Tm Min / 5)) / (Min * (Team Reb + Opponent Reb))
