It is fitting when athletes help out those in need.
ESPN.com reported that Houston Texans Ahman Green, Jason Simmons and Texans owner Bob McNair contributed $50,000 to help Regina Foster, a 37- year old single mom purshase a 1810- square-foot home. Foster is a mortgage broker who could not purcahse a home on her salary alone. She has a 7 year old son Reggie who is diagnosed with severe autism. Reggie has the mind of a 2 year old whereby he cannot speak except to mimic passages from his favourite movies, "Shrek" and "The Little Mermaid". You can read how this happened @ espn .com
With the help of the Texans organization Foster and her family can now invest in a future for little Reggie.
The Texans may not make it to the playoffs but they show the Thanksgiving spirit
