Raymond Smoot (Raymond Eugene Smoot) was born on July 24, 1970 in Leesville, Louisiana. After going to high school at Leesville (LA), Smoot attended Louisiana State University. Smoot made his professional debut in the NFL in 1993 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 1 year career.
