Ray Yagiello (Raymond W. Yagiello) was born on September 21, 1923 in Orange, New Jersey. After going to high school at Kearny (NJ), Yagiello attended Catawba College. Yagiello made his professional debut in the NFL in 1948 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1949 was Ray Yagiello's best year.
