Ray Wells (Raymond Eugene Wells) was born on August 20, 1980 in Oakland, California. After going to high school at Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA), Wells attended Mesa Community College and the University of Arizona. Wells made his professional debut in the NFL in 2003 with the Tennessee Titans. He played for the San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 2003 was Ray Wells's best year.
