Ray Trowbridge (Raymond Newton Trowbridge) was born on July 19, 1898 in South Bend, Indiana. After going to high school at Everett (MA), Trowbridge attended Boston College and Purdue University. Trowbridge made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Cleveland Tigers. He played for the New York Giants and Cleveland Tigers over the course of his 2 year career.
