Ray Shiver (Raymond O. Shiver) was born on January 1, 1932 in Miami, Florida. After going to high school at Andrew Jackson (Miami, FL), Shiver attended the University of Miami. Shiver made his professional debut in the NFL in 1956 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 1 year career.
