Ray Semproch

Born on January 7, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio, Ray Semproch (Roman Anthony Semproch) played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Detroit Tigers and Los Angeles Angels over the course of his 4 year career. Semproch broke into the bigs on April 15, 1958 with the Philadelphia Phillies, and put up a 3.92 ERA in 204.1 innings pitched in 1958, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Ray Semproch's best season was 1958, when he posted a 3.92 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 92 batters.
