Born on May 1, 1955 in Freeport, New York, Ray Searage (Raymond Mark Searage) played for the New York Mets, Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers over the course of his 7 year career. Searage broke into the bigs on June 11, 1981 with the New York Mets, and put up a 3.35 ERA in 51 innings pitched in 1986, his rookie year.
