Ray Schoenke (Raymond Frederick Schoenke) was born on September 10, 1941 in Wahiawa, Hawaii. After going to high school at Punahow (Oahu, HI) and Weatherford (TX), Schoenke attended Southern Methodist University. Schoenke made his professional debut in the NFL in 1963 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 12 year career.
