Ray Richeson (Thomas Ray Richeson) was born on September 27, 1923 in Russellville, Alabama. After going to high school at Russellville (AL), Richeson attended the University of Alabama. Richeson made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1949 with the Chicago Hornets. He played for the Chicago Hornets for his entire 1 year career.
