Ray Ratkowski (Raymond James Ratkowski) was born on November 10, 1939 in New York, New York. After going to high school at St. Francis Prep (Brooklyn, NY), Ratkowski attended the University of Notre Dame. Ratkowski made his professional debut in the AFL in 1961 with the Boston Patriots. He played for the Boston Patriots for his entire 1 year career.
