Ray Parson (Ray A. Parson) was born on May 30, 1947 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Uniontown (PA), Parson attended Mid-Plains Community College and the University of Minnesota. Parson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
