Ray Oyler (Raymond Francis Oyler) was born on August 4, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1965 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1965, his rookie year, he hit .186 with 5 home runs and 13 RBI. Oyler played for the Detroit Tigers, Seattle Pilots and California Angels over the course of his 6 year career.
