Born on June 20, 1945 in Evansville, Indiana, Ray Newman (Raymond Francis Newman) played for the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers over the course of his 3 year career. Newman broke into the bigs on May 16, 1971 with the Chicago Cubs.
