Ray Nelson (Raymond Nelson) was born on August 4, 1875 in Holyoke, Massachusetts. He made his Major League debut on May 6, 1901 for the New York Giants. In 1901, his rookie year, he hit .200 with 0 home runs and 7 RBI. Nelson played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
