Ray Mcelroy (Raymond Edward McElroy) was born on July 31, 1972 in Bellwood, Illinois. After going to high school at Proviso West (Hillside, IL), Mcelroy attended Eastern Illinois University. Mcelroy made his professional debut in the NFL in 1995 with the Indianapolis Colts. He played for the Indianapolis Colts, Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 2000 was Ray Mcelroy's best year.
