Ray Johnson (Raymond Robert Johnson) was born on October 16, 1914 in Denver, Colorado. After going to high school at Wheat Ridge (CO), Johnson attended the University of Denver. Johnson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1937 with the Cleveland Rams. He played for the Cleveland Rams for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1937 was Ray Johnson's best year.
