Ray Jablonski (Raymond Leo Jablonski) was born on December 17, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1953 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1953, his rookie year, he hit .268 with 21 home runs and 112 RBI. Jablonski played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, New York Giants, San Francisco Giants and Kansas City Athletics over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that Ray Jablonski's best season was 1954, when he hit for a .296 average and knocked in 104 runs.
