Ray Hickl (Ray William Hickl) was born on December 24, 1946 in El Maton, Texas. After going to high school at Tidehaven (El Maton, TX), Hickl attended Blinn JC and Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University-Kingsville. Hickl made his professional debut in the NFL in 1969 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 2 year career.
