Ray Graves

Ray Graves (Samuel Ray Graves) was born on December 31, 1918 in Rockwood, Tennessee. After going to high school at Knoxville (TN) and Rockwood (TN), Graves attended the University of Tennessee. Graves made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia/Pittsburgh over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1943 was Ray Graves's best year.
