Ray George (Raymond L. George) was born on April 1, 1916 in , CA. After going to high school at Loyola (Los Angeles, CA), George attended the University of Southern California. George made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions over the course of his 2 year career.
