Ray Childress

Ray Childress (Raymond Clay Childress, Jr.) was born on October 20, 1962 in Memphis, Tennessee. After going to high school at J.J. Pearce (Richardson, TX), Childress attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Childress made his professional debut in the NFL in 1985 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 12 year career.
Most people believe that 1992 was Ray Childress's best year, as he recorded 13 sacks and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
