Ray Armstrong (Ramon Lee Armstrong) was born on October 6, 1937 in Ennis, Texas. After going to high school at Ennis (TX), Armstrong attended Texas Christian University. Armstrong made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Oakland Raiders for his entire 1 year career.
