Ray Alexander (Vernest Raynard Alexander) was born on January 8, 1962 in Miami, Florida. After going to high school at John S. Shaw (Mobile, AL), Alexander attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Alexander made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1988 was Ray Alexander's best year, as he hauled in 54 receptions, had 788 receiving yards and caught 6 TD passes.
