Raul Chavez (Raul Alexander Chavez) was born on March 18, 1973 in Valencia, Carabobo (Venezuela). He made his Major League debut on August 30, 1996 for the Montreal Expos. In 2004, his rookie year, he hit .210 with 0 home runs and 23 RBI. Chavez played for the Montreal Expos, Seattle Mariners, Houston Astros and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 9 year career.
