Rating the Efforts of Pete Rose Whoring Aqua Velva

The debate still rages on concerning Pete Rose's eligibility for the Hall of Fame. However, more astute followers of the grand ole game realize that the true controversy concerning Rose's career had nothing to with gambling at all. In fact, that little matter of betting on baseball games and furthermore lying about it, absolutely pales in comparison to Rose's impeccable pitchman abilities for Aqua Velva.
It is now up to ArmchairGM posters to determine once and for all, which commerical of these three stands alone as the finest and most convincing performance of Mr. Charlie Hustle.
Extra props to anyone who admits to purchasing Aqua Velva based upon the overwhelmingly enticing endorsement.
Candidate Commercial#1
Synopsis - Pete demonstrates his incredible batting skills along with an equally charismatic charm with a certain lady reporter. This was obvious inspiration many years later to Joe Namath's infamous on camera flirtation/interview with the well endowed Suzy Kolber. Extra props to Rose's enthusiastic desire to "smell like a man!" And of course there is no need for those of us who remember the 70s what happened later between Pete and the ever so inviting young lady. Shag-a-delic baby!
Candidate Commerical#2
Synopsis - Pete goes the extra distance in stretching a single into a double. And just who happens to be covering second base? Why it is none other than Joe Morgan! America very well might owe Rose a debt of gratitude for introducing Morgan to the lens of a television camera. Extra props to Pete singing the Aqua Velva jingle but a demerit point towards Morgan's cheesy and overtly obvious line, "Its Pete Rose of the Philadelphia Phillies!" Future equally "astute" commentary from Morgan would ensue years later. What could be better for baseball male fans to smell just like Pete Rose AND Joe Morgan? (Rumor has it that Ray Fosse telegramed Pete after this commerical went national, asking why no hard slide into Morgan at second.)
Candidate Commercial#3
Synopsis - During a critical at bat, Cincinnati Reds' All-Star Pete Rose is subjected to taunting from a rather rude borish fan who inquires about his after shave in a completely credible manner. Rose calls timeout to defend his honor , errr check that, smell. The umpire bursts to Rose's defense (must have been MLB's first African American behind the plate) along with an enthusiastic peanut vendor who passes off as an ernest John Schneider imposter prior to the Dukes of Hazzard bonanza. Hilarity ensues as the umpire, irate fan, Bo Duke? and Pete Rose form a chorus line to sing the jingle. Simply awesome!
Well there you have it, ArmchairGM. The evidence is presented and your decision must be made. And for those of us here old enough to shave, look inside that medicine cabinet tomorrow morning for a dusty old bottle of Aqua Velva and smile in tribute to Charlie Hustle.

Racist, racist, racist!!!
Lastly, Tyrone I think you posted this too late- this is too good to pass up
