Raphael Matos

Rafa Matos will be a rookie driver in the IndyCar Series for 2009, driving for a now full-time Luczo Dragon Racing. Matos comes into the series with an impressive record in feeder series, winning both the Indy Lights title in 2007 and Atlantics title in 2006 as well as earlier Star Mazda and Barber Dodge crowns.
Matos has also participated in several major sports car events, including a GT class win at the 24 Hours of Daytona in the Grand Am series. He has ALMS and A1GP experience as well.
