So some of the top teams lost this past weekend and it threw a wrench into the rankings. I know that I am probably preaching to no one but if anyone agrees with me let me know. I don't understand how two teams who lost to top 25 teams (West Virginia and Texas)can drop 8 spots and 12 spots while teams that lost to unranked opponents can only drop 6 spots(Florida and Oklahoma). I understand that they are so much better than West Virginia and Texas (at least thats what the experts say) this is absurd if you ask me at least West Virginia and Texas lost to top 25 teams these other teams should have won these games well all of these teams should have won West Virginia's opponent is now ranked 6th and Texas' opponent is 16th. Oklahoma's opponent last week is still 40th and Florida's opponent is 39th, all of this according to the Fox sports polls. Again I know that you all will probably come up with some excuse for this but in the world of reality I don't understand how this can make any kind of sense. It's like we just get a bunch of people together some times and pick numbers.
