Randy Winkler (Randolph Stanley Winkler) was born on July 18, 1943 in Temple, Texas. After going to high school at Belton (TX), Winkler attended Tarleton State University. Winkler made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions over the course of his 3 year career.
