Born on March 7, 1953 in Pomona, California, Randy Stein (William Randolph Stein) played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Seattle Mariners and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 4 year career. Stein broke into the bigs on April 17, 1978 with the Milwaukee Brewers, and put up a 5.33 ERA in 72.2 innings pitched in 1978, his rookie year.
