Randy Ready (Randy Max Ready) was born on January 8, 1960 in San Mateo, California. He made his Major League debut on September 4, 1983 for the Milwaukee Brewers. In 1985, his rookie year, he hit .265 with 1 home run and 21 RBI. Ready played for the Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies, Oakland Athletics and Montreal Expos over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that Randy Ready's best season was 1987, when he hit for a .309 average and knocked in 54 runs.
