Randy Moore (Randolph Edward Moore) was born on June 21, 1906 in Naples, Texas. He made his Major League debut on April 12, 1927 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1930, his rookie year, he hit .288 with 2 home runs and 34 RBI. Moore played for the Chicago White Sox, Boston Braves, Brooklyn Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Randy Moore's best season was 1933, when he hit for a .302 average and knocked in 70 runs.
