Randy Mcclanahan (Randall Duane McClanahan) was born on December 12, 1954 in Lincoln, Nebraska. After going to high school at Moon Valley (Phoenix, AZ), Mcclanahan attended Glendale Community College and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Mcclanahan made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Oakland Raiders, Los Angeles Raiders and Buffalo Bills over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1978 was Randy Mcclanahan's best year, as he recovered 5 opponents fumbles.
