Born on May 28, 1956 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Randy Martz (Randy Carl Martz) played for the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 4 year career. Martz broke into the bigs on September 6, 1980 with the Chicago Cubs, and put up a 3.68 ERA in 107.2 innings pitched in 1981, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Randy Martz's best season was 1982, when he posted a 4.21 ERA and won 11 games.
