Randy Edmunds (George Randall Edmunds) was born on June 24, 1946 in Washington, Georgia. After going to high school at Lincolnton (GA), Edmunds attended Georgia Institure of Technology. Edmunds made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Miami Dolphins. He played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Miami Dolphins the entire time. Edmunds also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Baltimore Colts and New England Patriots over the course of his 2 year NFL career.

Most people believe that 1968 was Randy Edmunds's best year.
