Randy Burks (Randall James Burks) was born on August 22, 1953 in Idabel, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Gray (Idabel, OK), Burks attended Oklahoma State University and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Burks made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
