Randy Beverly (Randolph Beverly) was born on April 3, 1944 in Wildwood, New Jersey. After going to high school at Wildwood (NJ), Beverly attended Colorado State University and Trinidad State Junior College. Beverly made his professional debut in the AFL in 1967 with the New York Jets. He played in the AFL for 3 years, playing for the New York Jets the entire time. Beverly also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the New England Patriots and Boston Patriots over the course of his 2 year NFL career.

Most people believe that 1968 was Randy Beverly's best year, as he picked off 4 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
