- Somebody in the Giants franchise needs to have some scotch tape, soap or superglue handy at all times. Then they should step in and immediately apply to any Giant who engages in trash talk or trying to hear themselves talk. This week the honor should go to Plaxico Burress who is running his mouth over how the Eagles aren't going to stop him at all this Sunday. I'm sure Brian Dawkins is really going to be happy about this. The Eagles may not even have to stop Burress. He'll probabaly do that himself. Either that or a 15 yard penalty. Burress wins the "Shut the Hell Up" award for this week.

Another Knicks loss tonight to the Nuggets and a 10 player brawl rivaling the brawl in Auburn Hills. Nate Robinson needs to be held on a leash. His energy defines him but he has absolutely no control of himself and this franchise dosen't have any real on-court examples that could teach him otherwise. {as indicated by their actions} Just sad to see that there's no lesson learned from the brawl in Auburn Hills. Nice to see such a wonderful example of leadership by Carmelo with his jab at Jared Jeffries and Nate Robinson. I'm sure his teammates will thank him as well when he gets suspended.

Interesting to see the Boston Red Sox playing the game of moneyball used by their hated rivals and nabbing Matsuzaka to the tune of 151 million. Immediately he's thrown in the Boston Bruins schedule to drop the opening puck. The hype is unreal. It's seems like it's either a Cy Young or bust for Matsuzaka.

We know how weak the NFC West is. So what does it say for Seattle to lose consecutive games to the Cardinals and 49ers? The 49ers have made progress this year as Frank Gore is breaking out like zits and warts. Matt Leinart seems to be picking up the game more and more each week. But Seattle is still absolutely underachieving at 8-6.

What is taking so long for the Minnesota Timberwolves to make a move for AI? The ESPN polls and virtually every poll in the known universe favor the T-Wolves as the team that needs Iverson the most. If they don't land this deal, that will be another indirect slap in the face of Garnett.

In three college basketball games, Greg Oden is already drawing comparisons to Patrick Ewing and Tim Duncan. And he is not even 100% and is literally playing with one hand. Florida has the chance to win the national title in football which will complete the double wammy with Florida's NCAA basketball title last year. But Ohio State may complete a double wammy of their own with a win on Jan 8th as well as a fully healthy Greg Oden.

Bill Parcells finally had the chance to see how Romo responds from a poor performance. 22-29 for 278 yards and 2 TDs in a big Cowboys win over the Fal CONS on Saturday shall put a big smile on his face. Romo sure as heck dosen't lack character. And Marion Barber II is going to keep the Barber name going in the NFL {Tiki, Ronde, Shaun} Let's hear the critics blame Michael Vick for this one. He had 4 TD passes.

I believe NFL teams should just kick the ball out of bounds while taking on the Bears. Better for them to get the ball at the 40 then to have Hester tiptoeing into the endzone. Linehan sure as heck didn't get the memo when he kicked it off to him twice, once when the Bears were in onside kick formation!! It looks like the Bears will ride or die with Grossman as the QB from here on out.
