Ramon Santiago (Ramon D. Santiago) was born on August 31, 1979 in Las Matas de Farfan, San Juan (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on May 17, 2002 for the Detroit Tigers. In 2002, his rookie year, he hit .243 with 4 home runs and 20 RBI. Santiago played for the Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners over the course of his 5 year career.
