Ramey Hunter (Raymond Q. Hunter) was born on August 26, 1910 in Huntington, West Virginia. Hunter attended Marshall University. Hunter made his professional debut in the NFL in 1933 with the Portsmouth Spartans. He played for the Portsmouth Spartans for his entire 1 year career.
