Born on October 29, 1909 in Benton, Kansas, Ralph Winegarner (Ralph Lee Winegarner) played for the Cleveland Indians and St. Louis Browns over the course of his 6 year career. Winegarner broke into the bigs on September 20, 1930 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 5.51 ERA in 78.1 innings pitched in 1934, his rookie year.
