Ralph Shinners (Ralph Peter Shinners) was born on October 4, 1895 in Monches, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on April 12, 1922 for the New York Giants. In 1922, his rookie year, he hit .252 with 0 home runs and 15 RBI. Shinners played for the New York Giants and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 3 year career.
